Running Meteor on Windows

Before start exploring meteor we need to setup environment for meteor development. It takes just 2 minutes to setup.

Step-1 

Download msi package from  

http://win.meteor.com

or

direct link https://github.com/downloads/TomWij/meteor/Meteor_PREVIEW.0.5.2.msi

Step-2

Install setup on your windows machine. It is recommended to reboot your machine.

Step-3

If you are running windows 8 you will have to set compatibility mode to windows-7 for following executable file

c:\program files\meteor\bin\node.exe ------(For 32 bit machines)

c:\program files(x86)\meteor\bin\node.exe -------(For 64 bit machines)

Step-4

You are done. Start a joy ride!!

My First Day and First Post of Meteor Framework Experience

I am really excited to know about meteor framework. When i have look at feature list of meteor i can not resist myself to explore it for whole night even though i was very tired with that day work. It was really worth. I am continuing this work in my spare time and will post more interesting stuff here. So stay tuned for more on my meteor experience.
